Summer is on the way – and today we’ve got a massive house tune for you:
Alec Bronski’s new single „Keep This Love Alive“ features house-legend Donna Hidalgo on vocals and includes remixes by Mannix and Alec Bronski.
We are sure that „Keep This Love Alive“ is going to be soundtracking your feel good summer.
Donna Hidalgo needs little introduction: The mentorship of producer legend Leroy Burgess, who introduced her to Fonda Rae, the voice behind the classic “ Get Over Like A Fat Rat “ and the late, great Curtis Hairston of the “ BB & Q Band “ built a strong musical family in Baltimore, Md.
Having worked with legendary house music producer Marshall Jefferson as well as releasing on Echo/Vista, Soundmen on Wax, Daddyfunk and Jamie Lewis’s „Purple“ label, Donna Hidalgo’s career is underway since the 1990s and has never stopped since.
remixes by Mannix & Alec Bronski
Tracks like „Standing Right Here“ (ft. Dina Vass) have made Mannix synonymous with classic house and this remix is no different. His Crystal Disko re-work takes the track right into the heart of the dancefloor with the producer’s trademark uplifting classic house sound.
Last but not least, Alec Bronski himself has remixed „Keep This Love Alive“ into an appreggiator-driven floorfiller, giving it a more dark, intense and tripping spin.
